"Diversamente" is a therapeutic garden designed to foster direct contact between people and nature, transforming the green space into an integral part of the treatment process. The garden is conceived as a place to be experienced, capable of improving physical and mental well-being, alleviating pain, and helping reduce recovery times. The project is based on principles of total accessibility, eliminating all architectural barriers, and on the creation of diverse environments that ensure physical and emotional comfort. Natural and sensorial elements—such as colors, scents, and vegetation (present in over 70% of the area)—offer positive distractions, helping users detach from stress and illness. "Diversamente" is the winner of the "Sport and Socialization" call for proposals from the Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca Foundation for the Municipality of Porcari.
